SOMETHING BIG IS COMING…

Our Story

As the firm’s first full construction project, Casa K·ĀLMA holds a deep meaning for the team, as it reflects the firm’s design philosophy and its embrace of nature as an integral part of architecture—essentially, the essence of the firm.

Located in Zibatá, Querétaro, a whole new town conceived to redefine the perception of a well-planned city, the project sits on a 9 × 18 m lot with a gentle natural slope. Every inch, every space, and every corner of the house was carefully conceived and designed down to the very centimeter.

While maintaining the user’s privacy by closing itself to the exterior, the project opens inward to light and space. High ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, interior courtyards, and abundant vegetation define the atmosphere of the house. Each level has a clear purpose and a specific way of functioning, allowing the user to walk through, feel, and breathe the architecture. The detailing of walls, ceilings, and lighting aims to evoke a sense of beauty, calm, and peace in everyone who enters this home.
