FROM WRECKAGE INTO CASA HUGO
The transformation of a 130 sq m house in the heart of Atizapán de Zaragoza, Mexico, was the firm’s first full renovation project. Facing major challenges—such as limited construction labor, the demolition of structural walls on the ground floor to increase usable space, and many others—the Casa Hugo project was a complete success. Not only did the careful selection of materials and the meticulous design of custom wooden furniture, but also the addition of a full bathroom to the main bedroom, significantly raise the standard of living in a lower-middle-income neighborhood, transforming a devastated house into an exceptional home.
